Regional HUBs

The strategy of BioINSouth involves targeting eight case-study regions for the establishment of eight Multi-Actor Regional Groups (MARGs) from Quadruple Helix, and to serve as the foundation for the ultimate creation of the eight BioINSouth regional HUBs to implement the BioINSouth toolkit.

Each region contributes significantly to the overall bioeconomy development in South Europe, and has distinct particularities in terms of prevalent bioeconomy value chains, financing, capacity, industrial/semi-industrial installations, and primary production.

BioINSouth aims to address those regional specificities through the HUBs and a series of designed custom activities.

For the creation of the HUBs, BioINSouth will leverage the experience of the BIOEAST HUB in the Czech Republic, while Türkiye is a candidate replication region of the overall BioINSouth strategy.
