CTA a multisectoral innovation cluster (covering biotech and agri-food sectors among others) made up of more than 170 companies. For 18 years, CTA has been supporting R&D activities through financing, mentoring and cooperation with main Andalusian stakeholders, emerging as a singular multi-sectorial innovation cluster and bringing together the forces of public administration, companies and academia. CTA participated in more than 40 EU projects, is full member of the BIC (2017), A.SPIRE (2018), ERRIN (2018), fellow entity and co-leader of the industrial symbiosis and bioeconomy working groups in CCRI (2022). CTA owns a public open innovation tool promoting the creation of collaboration opportunities and value chain creation among different stakeholders.
Partner role in BioINSouth
CTA is the WP2 leader taking over the development of the BioINSouth multi-actor approach framework, and also actively participates in activities in WP3, WP5, and WP6.
