ADVagroMED is a sustainable farming initiative that harnesses insect-based solutions tailored to Mediterranean climates. It uses black soldier fly and yellow mealworm larvae to convert agricultural by-products into valuable resources. The larvae serve as high-protein poultry feed, while the frass is repurposed as organic fertilizer. This project unites partners across Southern Europe and North Africa under the Horizon 2020 PRIMA program to promote circular agro-ecology.
